Delete Your Sprucely Account

How to request deletion of your Sprucely account and personal data by email from your account address, how identity is verified, and what may be kept.

Request deletion by email

Send an email to support@sprucely.com from the email address associated with your Sprucely account. Use the subject line "Account deletion request" and include the name on the account.

Do not include your password, one-time codes, or login tokens. Sprucely will never ask for them to process a deletion request.

Identity verification

To protect your account, we must verify that the request comes from the account holder before anything is deleted. We may reply to the account email address and ask you to confirm the request or answer questions about your account. Requests we cannot verify will not be processed.

Deleting from the Sprucely app

In versions of the Sprucely app that include deletion, open Account, then Delete Account. Sign in again when prompted, read the notice, type DELETE and confirm the request. Acceptance blocks customer activity and clears local account data; it does not mean every retained record has been erased. If your version does not include this option, use the email request above.

What happens after you request deletion

Once your request is verified, Sprucely will review your account and delete or de-identify personal data that we are not required or permitted to keep. You will lose access to your account, booking history, and saved details.

Upcoming or in-progress bookings may need to be completed, cancelled, or settled before the account can be closed.

Information that may be kept

Some information may need to be reviewed and kept rather than deleted, for example:

  • Booking, payment, and other transaction records that Sprucely is required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting obligations
  • Information related to fraud prevention, security, payment disputes, or chargebacks
  • Booking and job records shared with independent service providers or Realtor partners, which those parties may also hold
